Is sex a therapy for social anxiety disorder?

I am reading an article and it writes, "Sex is when you can explore your personality without any social anxieties" (SELF.2009) Basically, during sex your ture self/nature comes out without regard to playing a role in public or maintaining social norms. Thoughts?

That article is probably messed up. A real therapist would not say that... if that were true, than all sorts of bad things (rape, incest, etc) would be permissible... and they most certainly aren't.

Ultraman comes from the star Ultra. There Ultra Mother and Ultra Father and 36 Ultra brothers.

What are the special characteristics of a Japanese hero?

1) They usually come in groups, as you can see here, rather than individually (Spiderman) or in pairs (Batman and Robin). There are 38 members of the Ultraman family.

2)They often have very large glowing eyes, like radioactive insects or blowfish.

3) They often have a connection with light and mirrors. Ultraman comes form the "land of light," and at times Ultramen give their light to one another. Akko-chan uses a mirror to transform, Mirror Man transforms with his father inside a mirror by the help of a shinto amulet (omamori), and Gao Rangers transform accross the boundary of a mirror in the form of a pool of water, highly reminiscent of that in Shinto Mythology (Ame no manaki i - the well at the middle of heaven).

4) They rarely speak. They do not seem to be able to open their mouths. Sometimes, like Masked rider 555 and Hello Kitty, they do not have mouths at all.

5) They change clothes instantaneously, by striking a certain pose, and do not need to enter a telephone booth or bat cave, or get undressed.

6) They like to strike poses which give them special powers such as the Ultraman elbow-stratch-L-shape which enables them to send an ultraman beam at their opponents. Combined with their inability to speak, they resemble Marcel Marceau.

7) Their special powers are often impermanent. Ultraman Taro is only super-powered for three minutes. He is warned that he will soon return to normal by a red light that starts to glow on his chest.

8) They transform by means of totemistic symbols - the "henshin item" such as the beta capsule. This is common to all Japanese superheros even as far back as Mitokoumon and Touyama no kin (who have a totemistic seal, or tatoo), through all the Masked riders (who have transformation belt come card readers etc) and the Super Sentai, who also have card readers and other transformatory symbols or "totem badges."

9) Japanese superheros are dual in that they are possessed (as in spirit possession) by a superbeing that takes over, comes out, comes ot the rescue. Hayata is NOT Ultraman. Ultraman is possessing, and appears when needed to fight monsters. Sometimes the possession is incomplete, such that there is a normal human and a super friend (as in Doraemon, Pocket Monsters, and Death Note) and at other times the posession takes the form of a Klien bottle in that the human is possessed by a totem spirit, and also possesses that spirit (gets inside the totemic god that is inside him), but only when several of them are merged together, as in the climax of the super sentai series.

10) Other than this time limit they do not have an Achilles Heel, or "weakness." There is no Kryponite for Ultramen. Perhaps one might say that the weakness of Japanese superheros is in time while that of the Western superhero is in space.

11) The seem to take little interest in the opposite sex. They never fly accross the Tokyo skyline with a lady in their arms. And this, despite the fact that, Ultra Mother and Ultra Father had a very large number of children.
